PHET center bags second position as Outstanding Exhibitor in Ludhiana

The All India Coordinated Research Project Post Harvest Engineering and Technology (AICRP PHET) Solan Centre of Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni bagged the second position as Outstanding Exhibitor in the Technology Developers Exhibition held at Ludhiana. The exhibition was held during the Kisan Mela organised by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research’s Central Institute of Post Harvest Engineering & Technology(CIPHET) held from October 3-5.

Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana gave the award which was received by Dr Rakesh Sharma, Principal investigator, AICRP on PHET, Department of Food Science and Technology of the university. Dr Anshu Sharma and Er Atul Dhiman, Scientists working on the project were also present

Over 25 Research and Development institutes and universities participated with their products and technologies along with different food processing industries. The PHET center from Nauni displayed various products made from different fruits and vegetables, millet-based value-added products, functional products and their technologies were displayed in the Kisan Mela.
